Let the East join the West! You do not have to be a world leader to do that, just turn up for Prague Pride Parade on Saturday, 16th August and take a stand against homophobia.

This year, we are walking for all the gays and lesbians from the East who cannot organise their own Pride whether it is because their country prohibits it or because they face violence from members of a homophobic society.

The Parade kicks off from the statue of St. Wenceslas at Václavské náměstí and will continue to the Letná park through Příkopy and náměstí Republiky. You can look forward to music stages and Jarmarq at Letná.

PARADE ROUTE:
Václavské náměstí – centre of Prague – Letná.

Bring with: family, friends, good mood, slippers (if they are a part of your costume), raincoat and do not forget banners, rainbow flags, buttons and costumes. Be colourful and loud on this day when we call to end homophobia in the world – let’s be heard in all the countries where it counts.

The journey to Letná will be accompanied by floats filling the streets with music. Be creative and original. Show that Prague Pride can be world-known.

It will play on Monday at the opening ceremony , so you do not miss it.

Festival Village this year will be in the Lesser Containallu next to the river. Not only bread (celozrným, of course) man is alive and not only is Prague Pride parade.
