<p>Veteran Pop Icon Sir Elton John has announced that he his to perform in Russia despite the anti-gay laws which prohibits the promotion of 'non-traditional sexual relationships to anyone under 18.</p>

<p></p><p>Candle In The Wind singer and openly gay, father of two, Sir Elton John has announced plans that he is to perform a concert in Moscow this December, saying, </p><p></p><p>'As a gay man, I can’t leave those people on their own without going over there and supporting them.
