Louis Walsh | ITV

Louis Walsh 61, the longest serving judge on the UK's favourite Karaoke competition is having 'so much fun' he's rethinking his comments on leaving.

During an interview with the magazine TV Times, the boyband mentor of Union J said that he thought that this series might be his last (collective ahhhhh....)

However it seems as though he's backtracking on his statement. In a new TV interview with Jonathan Ross, set to air this weekend, Walsh was asked whether he was going to leave, he said:

'Well, I said I was. But I'm having so much fun this year, I might stay.'

Gary Barlow on the other hand definitely wants out.

We’re left wondering whether Louis’s acts are the reason why he has chosen to stay? He’s currently mentoring the boys: Sam Callahan, the little one and the hairy one... We forget their names... We jest it's Nicholas and Luke... All the boys are anticpated to do very well this year.

So if the show returns next year, who would you like to see as judges?
