GROOMING: Refresh Your Face – The Post Party Must Haves

That's right it's January! Everyone's feeling a little larger, a lot poorer and like their skin is as dull and dreary as the weather. I'm no miracle worker but fear not my friends, I'm going to let you in on a few skin secrets I've come to know as January's best friends.

Perfection

1, Perfectionist serum from Estée Lauder

This product is bloody brilliant and practically hasn't left my face all month. Perfectionist Serum is a comforting yet powerful serum designed to lift and firm the skin. It glides over your skin smoothly and smells like a luxury spa and oh I could go on and on.

I apply it before my moisturiser the morning after the night before to bring back the glow and plumpness lost from doing shots off a gogo boys stomach (ahem). If you have dryer or more mature skin I'd recommend using it 3-7 times a week as you will benefit from its rich texture. If like me you have oily skin, you may wanna use it only at night instead or on occasions where you're afraid leaving the house after a night out may terrify the neighbours. Either way, I am loving the life out of this serum and it's helped me out more than I'd like to admit already this year. Shh, no one will ever know...

Face Fuel

2, Facial Fuel Energising Moisturiser for men from Kiehl's

This product is quite new to me but a long time beloved fan favourite for men. Since my discovery I've fallen in love with it as a product and Kiehl's as a brand. Facial Fuel Energising Moisturiser Is a re-awakening treatment that uplifts fatigued skin. Zing for your eyes

3, GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream from Origins

I am a huge sufferer of the dreaded puffy eye. Most days I look like my bags have bags. Like they went on a Harrods' sale shopping spree. I've tried countless products to help reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness and I have finally found my saviour! Praise be to Origins for their amazing GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. A FINAL NOTE

Finding the right products for your skin is a blessing so once you've found them, grab them with two hands and don't let go! Along side your products and potions there is one more thing you can do to refresh, brighten and give luminosity back to your skin. WATER! That's right it's that simple and you can't drink enough of it. When I'm not drinking brandy, I'm drinking water and the more you drink (water not brandy) the more your skin will reward you.

I wish you well into the new year and may all your dreams come true. Until next time my friends
