Archbishop Of Canterbury Meets With School Teacher For Anti-Homophobic Campaign

Trinity School is a strongly Christian school with an inclusive ethos for students of all faiths, in addition to those who have none. The Archbishop will be accompanied by key personnel from Lambeth Palace, the National Palace and the Diocese and Southwark Diocesan Board of Education.</p><p></p><p>The Archbishop of Canterbury will be launching new guidance materials ‘Valuing All God’s Children’ to support Church of England schools in taking positive actions to prevent homophobic bullying. Mr Dellenty will be participating in a group discussion on the subject of addressing homophobia in schools, with the Archbishop of Canterbury and LGBT students of Trinity School. </p><p></p><p>Mr Dellenty recently spoke to all students and staff at Trinity school about his own experiences as a survivor of homophobic bullying and of his Inclusion For All work during morning worship. In 2013 Mr Dellenty was invited to meet with LGBT students at Trinity School to discuss their own experiences by Father Mike Todd, Chaplain and Executive Assistant to the Headmaster Father Richard Peers.
