We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as Project Coordinator at the LGBT Health Initiative in the Division of Gender, Sexuality, and Health. The project focuses on transgender identity development.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Bachlors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience in a medical or social science research environment or the equivalent in education, training and experience.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

A minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience in a medical or social since research environment. The candidate must have the following experience or training:

  • Knowledge of an experience in working with the LGBT community with a particular focus and/or interest in working with transgender individuals.
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills such as word-processing, database management, and web-based data collection.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
