The Services Lobby Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical, logistical, and administrative functions of San Francisco AIDS Foundation’s vibrant and critical Services Lobby program. The Services Lobby Program Manager will create, implement, and maintain a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for SFAF clients, staff, and guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervision, Support, and Advocacy: Directly supervise Services Lobby and Reception team, including one-on-one meetings, weekly team meetings, and bi-annual individual reviews. Provide breaks and respite shifts for staff as needed. Serve as liaison for staff to Program Managers and Leadership Teams.
  • Clinical: Build clinical rapport with regular clients, de-escalate client incidents as needed, oversee client intake protocol, and provide ongoing on-site support to Services Lobby and Reception staff. Provide de-escalation trainings for staff and facilitate clinical consultation meetings with Services Lobby staff and Managers of the Day as needed.
  • Security Planning: Create, implement, and maintain a site-specific security protocol, including developing a relationship with SFPD’s LGBT liaison, creating a safety monitoring plan that includes all three floors and restrooms, and training staff on emergency procedures and protocols.
  • Manager of the Day: Create, implement, and maintain Manager of the Day program, including training curriculum, monthly rotation calendar, and filling in as needed.
  • Volunteer Coordination: In collaboration with Director of Volunteer Services recruit, train, and retain a pool of volunteers to provide regular breaks and respite shifts for Services Lobby and Reception staff.
  • Administrative: Oversee daily schedule, client incident reporting, and communications to staff about client incidents. Collaborate with Office Services team as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Master’s degree in a counseling field (MA,MSW, MFT/I) strongly preferred, and 5 years experience in a similar non-profit position or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Skill in operating office equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine, and telephone system. Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is located at 1035 Market Street, Suite 400, San Francisco, and may require traveling to other office locations or off-site meetings as required by the job.
