Queen City Pride – The Queen City Pride Festival is an annual, week-long celebration of the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, and Queer) community of Regina and the greater region of South Saskatchewan. The festival features a series of events, organized by Regina Pride and other community organizations, that focus on highlighting our culture, history, achievements, and struggles. Every event strives to educateentertain, and enlighten participants on our sexual and gender diverse community. The Queen City Pride Festival takes place during the month June, along with Prince Albert Pride, Saskatoon Pride, Moose Jaw Pride, and Swift Current Pride. These festivals take place during Saskatchewan’s “Pride Month”, as proclaimed by the Government of Saskatchewan each year.

Walk, roll, skip or scooter along with Queen City Pride in this year’s Pride Parade! Parade day is Saturday, June 20th and takes place in downtown Regina. Staging for the parade will begin at 10:30am and the parade officially begins at 12:00pm. The parade will finish at Victoria Park where our festivities continue with OUT in Victoria Park.

You asked for it, Regina! Queen City Pride is proud to bring you the city’s largest Pride party featuring TV’s drag superstar Shangela! Dancing the night away from 8pm to 4am, Pride After Dark is the only official after party of Pride. DJ Rsquared and DJ RyRy start off the night right, pumping your favourite sounds of what’s trendy on the music scene. Your host and lead performer of the night, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race Shangela Laquifa, hits the stage at 10:30pm. This fierce diva is on a mission to make sure each and every one of you gets a fabulous experience that you can’t miss. Then, party into the twilight with DJ Del Stamp, the west coast’s hottest Pride circuit star. Party hard! Party long! Play safe! Have fun!


Regina Pride Inc. is a volunteer-based non-profit organization focussed on outreach, community development, and celebration for the LGBTQ community of Regina through the Queen City Pride Festival and numerous other annual events. Throughout the year leading up to each festival, the Board of Directors hosts various fundraisers, seeks sponsorships, applies for grants, and spends countless hours working with other community organizations to ensure each Pride Festival builds on the past.
