Physician Assistant – LGBT and HIV Medicine New York City

Key responsibilities include:

  • caring for existing patients at sick and follow-up visits
  • performing and documenting complete physical examinations and annual wellness visits
  • administering therapeutic injections and vaccinations
  • reviewing laboratory and diagnostic imaging results and reporting to physician and patients
  • assisting the physician with minor procedures
  • providing preventive health services including counseling and teaching
  • working with the documentation team to ensure complete and accurate records and claims
  • contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

To quality for this position, you must be Licensed and Registered as a PA in the State of New York, and have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program.​ Primary practicing location will be our office in midtown Manhattan, with secondary work at our New Jersey location.​ Dual licenses a plus, but not required for consideration.​

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with sincere interest in the health of the LGBT community, impeccable clinical ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.​ Experience in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and HIV health care is desired.​
