With the caption, ‘Almost broke off my arm during a show last week. Gots the bruises to prove it. Hedwig’s outta control. #battlescars’, Neil Patrick Harris has uploaded this disturbing picture of his battle wounds.

NPH who is looking a little tired and worn in the picture is leaving the Broadway product of Hedwig And The Angry Inch on the 17th August. He’s been playing the demanding role of Hedwig since March at the Belasco Theatre.

The current production has won several Tony awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Lead Actor in a Musical (Harris) and Best Featured Actress in a musical (Hall). Andrew Rannells will take the role of Hedwig on August 20.
