On October 12, 2013 more than 9,000 people and 90+venders are expected to attend and participate in the 10th annual Mid-South Pride Festival and Parade. This year’s theme is “Decades of Pride.” Held in Robert Church Park in Downtown Memphis, the Festival is a day-long celebration with arts, entertainment, vendors, a car show and family friendly activities.

New to this year’s event is the Pride Festival Barbeque competition, “Roastin’ on the River,” which will be an MBN points qualifying contest.
One of the centerpieces of the Festival will be the annual Pride Parade. The Parade will run down world famous Beale Street, and feature floats decked out to represent this year’s theme, as well as contests for best rolling groups and best walking groups.

As part of National Pride Month, Festival organizers are reaching out to those who are interested in sponsorships, vendor booths or to register to participate in the Parade. Deadline for signing up is September 12, 2013, but early sign up is always encouraged.

We welcome our neighbors in Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Alabama to join us in Memphis for the celebration. The Mid-South Pride Festival and Parade is the largest in the state, and the largest in the tri-state area.
