London Underground Station Pays Cheeky Tribute To Joan Rivers

A tube station on the London Underground has paid a cheeky tribute to the late Joan Rivers.

According to this Twitter post, staff at the Hackney Wick tube station paid tribute to the comedian and actress with this sign. It states, ‘As a tribute to the late Joan Rivers, parts of this station will be gradually replaced over the next 40 years.’

Over the years Ms. River’s cosmetic surgery became legendary and she was never afraid to laugh at herself because of it.

We think Ms. Rivers would have appreciated the joke.

Ms. Rivers died yesterday at the age of 81, after a week in hospital after suffering at cardiac arrest.
