Cher’s video release for Woman’s World has a simple message: female empowerment. It’s worked before, right? But, this time, it includes a bunch of wigs! Okay, that’s nothing new either, but these are just as cool as any Cher has donned: silver, red, and… newspaper.

Well, that simple message is done with a pretty simple video, which is pretty refreshing after that freaking fire-breathing swan video Lady Gaga just put out. Women of a variety of ages, shapes, colors, ethnicity, and (I think we can safely assume, considering the source) sexual orientations rock out with Cher. And you just can’t help but get into it.

The single, which is Cher’s first release since 2001 that wasn’t on a soundtrack, is off her Closer to the Truth album, due out September 24.
