CSD Dusseldorf – Düsseldorf-Pride kicks off in the state capital on the Rhine. The Festival area will be located on the Johannes Rau Place. Düsseldorf, Germany.
Der CSD-Düsseldorf e.V. hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, des Christopher-Street-Day als wiederkehrendes Signal in der Landeshauptstdt von NRW durchzuführen. Durch den CSD sollen unsere Anliegen und Bedürfnisse gegenüber unserer Umwelt wirksam zum Ausdruck gebracht, unterschiedliche Gruppen verknüpft, das Coming-Out Einzelner unterstützt und die Akzeptanz in der Bevölkerung gefördert werden. Wir wollen weiterhin mit allen politischen und demokratischen Mitteln für eine diskriminierungsfreie Zivilgesellschaft, Toleranz und Akzeptanz werben.
Christopher Street Day CSD Dusseldorf 2015
The uprisings in the Christopher Street in New York in 1969 were the beginning of a movement of demonstrations around the world, which is, of course, also arrived in the cosmopolitan and tolerant city of Düsseldorf! In the state capital on the Rhine we will hold the Düsseldorf-Pride and on the Johannes Rau Place we will celebrate in the Festival area.
On the big stage and at the “Speaker’s Corner”, in many information booths and at stations for food and beverages we will talk about equality, tolerance and acceptance for people with homosexual tendencies. A various stage program with national and international artists, singers and dancers will delight visitors. Also, we expect important politicians from the City Hall, the Parliament NRW and the Parliament in Berlin
The demonstration on Saturday 23 will pass through the streets of the city and show the diversity of the gay-lesbian-bi-trans community. On the evening of May 23, there will be the transmission of the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, to which we all p ople fromDüsseldorf, but also you – invite our foreign guests warmly.
