Many major dictionaries define marriage as being between a man and woman.

Oxford American Dictionary: mar·riage /ˈmarɪdʒ/ the formal union of a man and a woman, typically as recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife.

A group of anonymous artists have decided they want to change that definition, one dictionary at a time. They’re going to libraries and stores in San Francisco, placing stickers inside with a new definition. Hack Marriage wants to see marriage defined as “the formal union of two people by which they become partners for life.”

For the record, not all of the big dictionaries exclude same-sex couples.
