According to TV Talk Show Host and Satirist Bill Maher, Americans will not take anything seriously unless it is said in a British accent.

In an hilarious section on his show the other night he showed clips of all these famous American actors faking their accent even when they were meant to be playing Ancient Greeks. He rounds it off by showing a television commercial for a butt plug.

“If you’ve got a British accent you can literally tell us to stick it up our ass!” he quips.
