RAINBOW REYKJAVIK WINTER PRIDE

RAINBOW REYKJAVIK WINTER PRIDE

Rainbow Reykjavik combines amazing nature, nightlife and northern lights in fantastic international and local company. We offer waterfalls, erupting geysers, tectonic plates, the most popular LGBT party of the season, comedy, singing, exciting activities, world class cuisine and geothermal baths all neatly arranged over 3 glorious days. This small pride festival really is the perfect winter getaway and a great introduction to Iceland.

This 5th annual international LGBT winter pride festival takes place from February 11th  until the 14th – with extension packages offered both before (9-10 February) and after (14-15 February) the festival. We’ve welcomed guests from countries all over the world, including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

If Iceland is on your bucket list (which it probably is) the Rainbow Reykjavik Programme will have you  walking along the Continental Divide between the tectonic plates of Europe and North America.  Seeing geysirs, waterfalls and nature of unparalleled beauty.  Relaxing in the turquoise geothermal waters of the world-famous Blue Lagoon and dining in world-class restaurants, sitting in cosy cafes and partying until the wee hours of the morning with LGBT people from all over the world, in the charming and very cosmopolitan city of Reykjavik?

OMG, WE’RE SO EXCITED WE JUST PEED OUR PANTS A LITTLE!

Hera BjörkOne of our favourite diva’s of all time, Eurovision Song Contest veteran Hera Björk got in touch with us the other day to say she is working on a brand new stage show called The Queen of Effing Everything. The event will showcase her biggest strenghts, comedy and singing. The world premiere of her new show, which is in English, will take place on the first night of Rainbow Reykjavik, straight after the Welcome Dinner and before the Welcome Party.

Rainbow Reykjavik strives to be a great Winter Pride festival for the LGBTQI family and puts emphasis on celebrating Icelandic culture nature & nightlife!
