Queer Tango helps to break limits, expand ideas, refuse stereotypes; it gives freedom, especially freedom to be yourself, keep and develop unique personality. It’s a cultural new flow, which gives free choice to everyone to be as they are and to be accepted and supported as equal, a philosophy of tolerance where some can be one way they want and others to be some other way they want. On the present day this philosophy is popular as never, it gives opportunity to a human being to find personal harmony.
We started our Club to develop this wonderful idea and create new things, to communicate through dance and live great moments together, to promote Queer Tango in Russia. Special atmosphere of our Club, interesting projects and intriguing activities, new queer dances – all this we would love to share with you. We do the event, which can become one of the most spectacular happenings of your life.
Festival’s conception we offer is evolution from classic tango to new styles and unexpected experiments. Milongas will contain ideas of tango history and how it is changing from its beginning to contemporary new styles: you will have chance to come to Milonga “Retro”, try Milonga “Casino”, you can dance world’s tango music at Milonga “Around the world” or you can try not only opposite gender dance role, but also opposite gender look at Milonga “Gender Queer”. Here all tango variety is for you and not only tango!
