How To Add music to your profile page
One of the ways you can customize your profile page is by adding songs to the music player on your profile
page. You can upload songs from your computer or add a song that's located online already.
You can upload
any song in the .mp3 format to the music on your profile page. If your songs aren't in the .mp3 format, you'll need
to convert them before they'll work on your network.
Using the bulk media uploader,
you can add up to 100 songs at a time. However, we only permit 8 on your page. If you would like to have
more on your page please contact us. There is a fee to add more.
To upload music, go to your profile
page and locate the "My Music" module. Click the "Add Music" link.
Here's what the bulk
media uploader looks like:

The left pane shows the file hierarchy on your computer. Use it to locate the songs you
want to upload. Drag them to the right pane to add them to the upload list.
You can also
add your songs or podcasts from another website if you know the URL. Just head to your profile page and click the "Add
Music" link, then scroll to the bottom of the page. Under "Add music from another website," click the "More
information" link.

Paste the URLs of up to four songs or podcasts into this page and click "Add songs."
Finally, you can add a song from another page on our network - either the main page or another member's
profile page - to the music player on your profile page. While the song you like is playing, click the "Add to My Page"
link which shows under the play progress bar in the music player and the song will be added to the playlist on your profile
page. This only works if the other artist as given permission.

Edit your music
You can
change the order of the songs on your profile page, delete songs, or edit songs at any time. Head to your profile page and
locate your music player. Click the "Edit Playlist" link. You can also give permission for other members to add
your music to their page from this area. This is a great way to promote your work and get it out there for people to
see.

To change a song's information or upload an album cover, click the "Edit"
link. To remove a song from your profile page, click the "Delete" link. To change the order of songs, just drag
and drop them to the desired order.
Music player
settings
You have a few choices for how the music player on your profile page is
displayed. You can choose to have the playlist of songs appear or not. You can also choose to always have the playlist shuffle
or randomize, and you can turn on "Autoplay" so anyone visiting your profile page will automatically hear the songs
you've uploaded.
To access these settings, head to your profile page and locate the music player, then click
the "Edit" button.

You also have a few options for how music is played when you're browsing the network.
You can change the music player from normal playback mode to "repeat playlist" mode or even turn on "shuffle"
to randomize the tracks you hear. You can also pop the music player out into its own window so songs continue to play while
you're browsing the network.
To change the playback mode, click the arrow in the music player that indicates
"normal playback mode":

To pop the music player out into its own window, click the "Open in Popup Window"
button.

Add your playlist to another page or website
You can embed your music player widget from the "Badges and Widgets" page onto any website out there.
Just click the "Badges" link in the footer of your network. Next, scroll down to the "Music Player" section.
You can choose from the network playlist, most recent songs, highest rated songs, or featured songs, or from your playlist.
You can also choose from three sizes.
From here, you can share the branded music player of your choice on Facebook
or MySpace or add it to 15 other services, including Blogger, iGoogle, and Friendster, in just one click.

You can also add the playlist you've created on your profile page to another page on
the network - or another website entirely! You can do this with the main page's music player or anyone else's playlist
on the network. Any playlist you embed will appear in your network's branded music player widget, a great way to show
off your page.
Locate the playlist you'd like to embed. Hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the
music player to see the < > "Embed" icon.

Click this icon, then copy the code and paste it anywhere you'd like.
