Every year, Desperado brings film makers, actors, producers, and writers to Phoenix to interact with our audience. It’s a highlight of the festival that brings film making to life. Make sure to join our mailing list so you’ll be the first to know who’ll join us this year.
Audience Awards
Every year, using paper ballots and online voting, Desperado audiences select their festival favorite.
If you love film, this is your chance to nominate the film that has moved you the most. Everyone involved in making films appreciates Audience Choice Awards because this is where the film creators receive the most recognition for their work.
We invite you to drop by for the films, talk movies for hours, or find a comfy seat and just soak up the atmosphere. There are special events such as music, vendor tables, and our LGBT art gallery.
